
Decided to take a picture of the boys' pinewood derby cars at each stage of completion. So far, we just have the cars cut out. The curvy race car in the front is Cuddlebug's, the truck is Bearhug's, and the boxy race car in the back is the one they picked out to make for Bitty.
Taken on the wooden worktable in the garage.

Very cool. Pinewood Derby is a worthy Scout tradition. I think there is a design advantage to making the car heavier - will shoot downhill faster? Anyway, I think putting a fishing weight carved into the underside is what is usually done.
